רַחֲמָןm. (preced.) merciful, compassionate, sympathetic; הר׳ the Merciful, God. Tosef.B. Kam. IX, 30 (ref. to Deut. 13:18) כל זמן שאתהר׳ הר׳וכ׳ if thou art merciful, the Merciful will have mercy on thee. Kidd.81b הר׳ יצילנווכ׳ the Lord save us from evil inclinations. Midr.
